It’s been one month since I set foot in Taiwan — one month of new air, new faces, and new beginnings. Sometimes I still can’t believe that I’m actually here, walking the very path I used to pray about. If I could talk to the version of myself from a year ago, he wouldn’t have imagined this — studying abroad, meeting people from different corners of the world, and learning to stand on his own in a foreign land. Back then, it was only a prayer. But today, that prayer has become my everyday reality. Of course, it hasn’t always been easy. There are moments when I miss home, when everything feels unfamiliar, when the path ahead looks uncertain. Yet even in those moments, I can see how God’s hand gently leads me forward, reminding me that every step has a purpose. And one of the greatest blessings in this journey is the people I’ve met along the way — kind souls who’ve made this foreign place feel a little more like home. Truly, God’s goodness often comes wrapped in the warmth of others. As I start another month here, my prayer is simple: That I may keep learning with a grateful heart, keep growing with faith, and keep walking forward until the journey is complete.
