I used to be a pianist for a choir. And lately, I’ve been reminded how much that mirrors life. Sometimes I played the notes just right— exactly as written, flowing in harmony. Other times, I had to improvise, finding my own rhythm when things didn’t go as planned. And yes, there were mistakes—missed keys, wrong chords— but stopping was never an option. The choir kept singing, and I had to keep playing, trusting that—even with the flaws— the piece would still make its way to the end. Now, I’ve played through 23 “bars” of this song called 𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬— a rhythm uniquely mine, with a story only I could tell. And I’m ready for the next one—whatever it may bring. Still learning, still growing, still knowing I might stumble again. But I’ll keep playing anyway. That’s 𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬, I guess.
